A New Dawn!

Right then!

Being a bit of a dunce when it comes to website design and creation, I've shied away from having my own website for some time, despite really wanting one. About as far as I've got up to now is a Fotopic page and a few vids on Youtube.

However, a career change from Quality in the automotive industry with Bentley Motors to project development and technical authoring at Harper Adams University College has made me pull my finger out. I have harboured a desire to become an author for some time and in addition to my work for Harper, am pursuing publishing opportunities within the Railway media. Railways have been a passionate interest for me since I was a small boy, and I derive a great deal of enjoyment from writing about the technical and historic aspects of them. I also adore photography and whilst I don't pretend to be as competent at it as many, my enthusiasm for a a good shot has seen me bag some reasonable images over the years, especially since getting my hands on a digital SLR in 2006.

So, this Blog is for anyone interested in my new adventures in writing and photography, be they railway related or otherwise. I'm very excited to have my first wedding to shoot later this year for some friends. I'll need to get some practice in before then, so it's a good job I'm at the age where a lot of my friends are getting hitched!
